This is for the Sketch Challenge that I am hosting this week. My card was made it for a friend who prefers non-traditional colors for Christmas. I used paper scraps left over from card kit swaps. I liked the swirls and soft colors for my friend. The image was stamped in Basic Grey on watercolor paper and let dry overnight. Then I watercolored with an Aqua painter brush. Love using it. I die-cut into a stitched oval, popped it up on the card base, stamped a delicate Merry Christmas at the bottom, added embellishments - pearls and bow. I think my friend will love it. I hope you can play along with the Sketch Challenge! TFL

Oh Diane, this is so beautiful! I love those soft colours and that beautiful mother and child image. This is an awesome sketch and I am going to use it. The pearls and mauve ribbon are elegant finishing touches.
