Every year, I make a stack of 10 and 5 packs of cards with various sentiments and give them away as Xmas presents. With those, are my Xmas cards. I didn't have many Stampin Up dimensionals so I had to think of another way to do this. It took a while but I loved the overall look.
- First I made the card base 4 1/4 x 11 with the fold at the top.
- Next I placed the Bashful Blue CS on top of one side and ran it through Big Shot with the star thinlit.
- Then with the smaller white CS (4 x 5 1/4) I centered it on the Bashful Blue CS first, and placed White side down on the platform. It's upside down because now you can place the thinlit in the groove of the Blue CS! Takes the guesswork out.
- I embossed the smaller white CS (with the star cut out) with Softly Falling EF and glued all the pieces together.
I ended up making 18 of these. Thought it was pretty when you opened up the card and the shiny star is right there.
TFL!
