I didn't know how I was going to make the Recipe challenge into a tag but then thought of the Lemon Cookies my DH makes. He took some to our Dr after she requested them after hearing of how good they were. This tag would have been perfect to send along with the cookies.
Our neighbor gave my DH some of these cookies and soon after the neighbor's wife offered him the recipe which she found on Allrecipes.com. DH makes them more like a dome cookie and they are so tasty. The tray of cookies image I found from Whipper Snapper reminds me of the cookies. I printed the recipe out and die cut it with the MFT tag die. I cut another out of Watercolor paper. In the end I re-stamped all of the images and popped them up. Everything is watercolored except the Checkerboard flooring. I glued the recipe to the back of the tag, punched a hole and added some ribbon.
What is nice about the checkerboard floor it doesn't need to be perfect and you can adjust the size to meet your needs.
Stamps: MFT Recipe for happiness and Bon Appetit, Your Next Stamp Inside window play (table), Whipper Snapper Chicken's in the Kitchen (tray of cookies)
Paper: Neenah White, Watercolor paper
Paper Size: 2 3/4 x 5 tag
Ink: Stazon, Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, Copic black and Copic liner
Accessories: MFT Stitched Trad Tag die, foam tape, water, Reg and mini Misti, Ruler, Computer
Irene, this is a fabulous idea! I love that adorable tag, easy recipe, and directions on the back! (I also admire men who cook <big grin>, my DH doesn't!!)

Irene, your little chef is perfect for the challenge! Great job on the checkerboard floor and the cookies sound delicious and easy to make. That's a bonus for sure! Thanks for bringing cookies to my Cookie Exchange.

Adorable! You created a wonderful tag. What a creative way to share the recipe! Love the chef with his red scarf and your red ribbon to match. Wonderful checkerboard floor. Love your attention to detail by putting lemons on the table and having the batter look lemon flavored. Fantastic entry for the challenge! TFS

So adorable..and those cookies sound so good, Irene. You did a wonderful job of watercoloring the image and your perspectively correct tile floor has become a signature. It would be perfect when giving a batch of cookies to someone.

Oh my gosh how fabulous is this. I used your wonderful technique again today - I love it and thought how perfect it would be for Carla's challenge. I haven't finished the card yet LOL. Your tag is brilliant and I am going to try the recipe. Thank DH for me. xx
