I spent the day with a friend and she drove so I took advantage of the long drive to work on a journal page inspired by this beautiful paintingfrom today's inspiration site the Etsy store of Rachelle Levingston. I sketched with my Elegant Writer pens then bled the colors out.I smooshed a small Distress Ink pad to add the light green and my Faded Jeans marker scribbled around then moved around with my wet brush. I brought a few Chameleon pens along and started coloring with them. Once home I added some yellow and anither lighter blue. I used a white paint pen for some highlights and then hand wrote my quote and added a flourish with a fine point Sharpie. Thanks for another beautiful inspiration site! I have added this to the Mixability Challenge as well...I am totally enamored with the Elegant Writer Bleeding technique and it was a relaxing way to spend a long drive.

I know exactly what your inspiration was without looking. Gail, this is gorgeous! I especially like that you used the elegant writer pens, and that perfect quote!

Beautiful explosion of colour! I love the blues and greens. Your sentiment is the perfect compliment too! You are very brave working on this in the car ...or the driver is extraordinarily smooth! :-) Love your page!
