WooHoo it is Tickle a Teapotter time and we are helping Jacko and IndigoBlu-Magenta from Whykickamoocow, choose a Disney theme for their wedding. I guess it was a no-brainer that I would choose Fantasyland.
Here we have Penny out for an evening stroll. She recently learnt to whistle `outwards' and couldn't be happier with herself. I vividly remember my brothers trying to teach me to whistle properly. To this day I can only whistle `inwards'.
Now about my card...no surprises that this was done with Distress Inks and the Smack & Squirt technique ((smack distress ink pad onto al foil, squirt on water and using a foam blending tool, scrub the inky water onto the cardstock, add a bit more colour without adding water where needed).
I started at the bottom and created the grass area, followed by the moon. The purple area was done next by tilting the foam blending tool. The night sky was done last. I wanted an aged night-time look so I very gently rubbed a pre-stained Walnut Stain foam blending tool over the background.
To work out the positioning of the house and Penny, I placed acetate stamped images over the background. Once I was happy with the layout, I used Memento Luxe ink and MISTI, I stamped Penny about 10 times and the house 3 times.
Prismacolour pencils are a dream to use over the top of distress inks. It saves having to do a lot of masking. I hand drew some cobblestones, added a garden, some glitter and finished with a doodled border.
Thank you for looking and I hope you get time to play. Have a happy, inky week.

Beautiful card! I love everything about fairies (and lately distress inks) and your work covers it all. Great color choices. Will be casing it for sure. TFS.

What a lovely woven tale of magical fantasy. You create the most wonderful fantasy worlds for your cards. Love the cottage with the cobblestones - makes a nice home for Penny to live in. She must be so house proud. I don't know about the weedy dandelion she has in her hands and blowing all the seeds every where! She will have a lot of weeding to do if she isn't careful. he he

I'm sure they will pick Fantasyland as their destination as this conveys the magic and wonder they will experience. Your colors are fab..the blending the distress inks and the Prismacolors is awesome. I love her wings and the stones...what a GREAT card for some lucky teapotter!

I just love this card, Susie..in fact, I am making a MMTPT card hoping you will get my name. These whimsical Lavinia stamps are great, but it is what you for with them that makes these cards sensational.

WOW! You never fail to Wow us Susie! Your work with any stamp and color is off the charts. You try techniques we are all afraid of and they work. But your work with color trumps all of that. Your Lavinia stamps have become my favorites because of your work but no way could I produce something like this. I have your art hanging in my craft room to remind me to think, just once, out of the box! Just WOW

What a dreamy Fantasyland scene, Susie, it's absolutely gorgeous. I love how low the moon is in the sky, and all the glitter in it, soft and pretty. And those must be nightingales singing in the trees. Definitely not nightjars, they would spoil the mood entirely, LOL. Penny is just delightful and I love her house. I keep looking at stamps like that but I just know I wouldn't use them - so I'll enjoy seeing your creations instead.
