The Friday Free For All Challenge, F4A353 Christmas Critters (11/25/16), was to make a Christmas card with a critter on it. This challenge was addicting! I had a brand spanking new House Mouse stamp just begging to be used and boy did I use it! This card is the third, and I promise the last, card I will post for this challenge using the same stamp. It was so much fun to have my stamping mojo back that I didn't want to quit while I was on a roll!
As with the other 2 cards I made using this Mousie stamp, I kept this one clean and simple. Mudpie Mouse was stamped with Versafine black onyx ink and heat embossed with detail clear embossing powder. The only color on him is a blush of Memento Angel Pink sponged on his cheeks. The die used to cut the image panel is a new one from Gina Marie Designs called Rounded Squares, with a sweet stitched edge design.
The embossed pine background was adhered to a SU Real Red card base, and the image panel was added, using fun foam underneath to pop it up and add stability for mailing. I tucked a few pine sprigs from my stash of pre-cut SU Pretty Pines to add a bit of color. And to finish the card, I added red berries to the sprig with Nuvo Crystal drops (Rhubarb Crumble) and a sweet pre-tied bow from a Little B holiday sticker set.
Thanks for stopping by and looking at my new favorite little critter, Mudpie Mouse. May you have a warm and cozy holiday season!

Oh my goodness I just got this stamp and inked it up to send to a friend less than 5 minutes ago. This is fantastic!!! I am so going to have to case this card for a Christmas card or two this year.
