Hi everyone! It feels like forever since I've posted anything. I've spent so little time online, much less on SCS, but have tried to view the daily challenges with the hopes of some craft time. I've been running my mother to multiple doctor appointments and errands. It's been a very challenging year that included the removal of her upper left lung and with a pending ICD (coronary) procedure next month.
I'm happy to "Celebrate"!!
I'm sorry for the blurry photo. This card is slightly a cheater...back in July there was a plaid tutorial that started me on this SCS journey. I made this background shortly after uploading my first card and has been waiting to be loved. The bg was my jumping off element for this relatively simple card.
I added Flowersoft to a random paper wreath. Added the gingham bow. Stamped the sentiment in SU Garden Green and used the Altenew coordinating die. The wreath and sentiment are popped up with foam dimensionals and fun foam.
The photo does not show well but the silver panel is beneath the plaid.
I'll probably do a few in blue hues for Hanukkah too.

I have always thought the world needed more pink tartan, with a hint of charcoal grey......and here it is!!! Miss Deborah you could start your own Scottish clan (I'm willing to convert), we could all parade around in our pink tartan kilts. I am in awe that you made this background. Thanks again for the link. The flower soft wreath is gorgeous too.

Beautiful. You didn't cheat at all; glad you could use something from your stash. We all do it. Love the plaid that you made. The wreath is fabulous and adds wonderful texture. The gingham bow is so cute. Love it. I like the "celebrate" which we can do everyday. Great card. TFS
