I am a homebody, so my way to relax is to sit on the couch with my dog, however, my dog is a big German Shepherd rather than a little white fur ball. I needed a special card for my sister, which is why I used this little fluffy dog. The photo over the fire place is a real photo of her dog that I shrunk. It is a pure bred something or other that I can''t spell. It is hard to tell in the photo, but this is a paperback book with the center cut out. I used the computer to take 4 images and adjust the sizes to make this scene. It looks a lot like my sister's house and I colored it in her colors. There is a lot of fussy cutting and several elements are popped up with pop dots. These altered books are lots of fun to make. Come join us in this week's relaxing F4A challenge. TFL, Francie

You love your sister a lot to take all this time to make this for her! It turned out fantastic! Love the colors and the photo of the doggie was not missed! She will love it! I would love to see it IRL!

Wow! I could not even begin to design something like this much less personalize it so beautifully with the photo on the wall being her dog. I can't even imagine how long it took to color all that! Francie, this is fabulous. What a beautiful card for your sister and one she will cherish.

Wow, I love the room. I'm in love with the table image. Antique furniture is my thing and I've never seen a claw foot table stamp image. This room is calling my name.

I think your altered books are truly amazing, wonderful and beautiful, Francie; real works of art. The dimension in your scene is amazing, it reminds me of the toy theatre we used to have.
