It just would not be Christmas if I didnÂ’t bring out my favorite stamp by Impression Obsession. HeÂ’s barely an inch tall. I stamped the Tim Holtz trees in Versafine and embossed in clear. The snowman was stamped in Versafine and also embossed, watercolored the snowman. The backgrounds on a snow scene are my favorite thing to do. I masked the snow part and sponged a sky, trying hard to create light from the star die cut from Shimmer Sheetz. Then masked the sky and worked in a few snow drifts by sponging with Summer Sky and London Fog. Stamped the Inkadinkado flourishes representing wind and embossed in clear so itÂ’s subtle. Finished by sprinkling Frantage for snow.
Thanks for stopping by.

This just touches my heart! It represents everything wonderful about the season - peace, wonder, and joy. You did an amazing job with the background, and all the design elements are perfect. LOVE that precious snowman!

Nancy, I am enthralled with all your exquisite tags. Your have such a range of designs and techniques. Love this serenity of this one with the blues and snow banks...and then the sweet touch of the little snowman looking up at the brightest star.

Awww ... that little guy is so adorable! No wonder he is your favourite Christmas stamp! Beautiful background ... the masked snowbanks are just perfect and I love how you have the lightened area of the sky that shows the glow of the north star. The frantage adds a special touch of falling snow with a bit of texture. Amazing tag, my friend!! Thanks for sharing at my tag event. xx

Super cute snowman, beautiful background. Luv the barely there stamping creating the feeling of wind. I'm going to be disappointed when you stop making these tags, Nancy - look forward to seeing them everyday!

Absolutely darling and beautiful card. All that is missing is a little tongue sticking out to catch the snowflakes.

I have made hundreds of cards and so many people say it has brought joy to their lives which, in turn, brings joy to my life. Almost everyone I give them to says that they always save me, which I consider a huge compliment.

Awh! That little snowman is the most adorable one I've seen! And your sky and snowbanks are awesome! I haven't perfected sponging yet. Maybe one day I can get it to look as smooth as this. Love the flourishes too!
