Another fun tag for LollÂ’s challenge. I began by spreading black modeling paste on white cardstock with an old credit card. After that was dry I used Dreamweavers crackle paste over a Rebecca Baer stencil directly over the black. While it was still wet I sprinkled with Perfect Pearls and Pearl-Ex and heat set it a bit then let it air dry so it would not bubble. Added more color by sponging on top of that. I stamped with Versafine and embossed the Noel in clear and was surprised to get a clear impression. Thanks for looking!

OMGoodness, another gorgeous tag! Wow Nancy! Love the crackle effect...haven't done that in a LONG time!! Thanks for the reminder.
BTW, I haven't gone back in my craft room yet to try my shimmer sheetz out...been couching my dang head off! I got really spoiled not having the flu or cold for years...now it's all coming down on me at once! LOL!!
Anyway, hey I wonder about crakle bg and T.H. tree die with shimmer sheetz...hmmm... More layers to cut through, huh?
How bout you try it and I'll copy! Heehee!

Loving this 'crackle technique', and your beautiful tag makes me think of an old world church's stained glass windows. This is just gorgeous, and I've only tried the crackle stuff once, didn't work out well. I need lessons!!! Love this!!!

This is fabulous, Nancy! I've used crackle past, but it never cracks enough - barely visible. You really got a great impression with your heat embossing - I thought is was a die cut.
