I received a lovely RAK from Julia this week, which included Mitten Mouse - so my colour therapy last night was working on the mitten (and making two backgrounds because I tried stitching on the first one and totally messed it up).
Mouse and mitten stamped on Bristol Board with Versafine Black and coloured with pencils, then fussy-cut. For the background, I sponged some cheapo white card with Antique Linen, then stamped Linen with Vintage Photo. Crumpled it and added a little distressing with Tea Dye, then distressed the edges and sponged with more Vintage Photo. The little stars were stamped all over it with Versafine Sepia, and have details added with a white pen. I stamped extra ones on white card and coloured them to add at the bottom. The sentiment is from an MFT set, and the little strip is an offcut of the Linen base, embossed with SU's Square Lattice. Second time round I settled for just using a marker to add stitching lines. I did use the Spectrum Noir Glitter pen on the little yellow stars at the bottom, but it's hard to see.

Oh my goodness, how sweet is this! I love your gorgeous background that showcases this super sweet mouse in a mitten image! I love the faux stitching around the card and your distressing of the edges. I love all the stars you incorporated into this wonderful card and your sentiment is so perfect here! Hugs! ~Karen.

I usually don't prefer cute images, but you have made such fantastic cards with your adorable mouse images. The blue just glows and looks do wonderful with your rich brown bg. This is fantastic.
