| | This ATC was created for the monthly swap at my Stamp Group Meeting. The theme was "The First World War - Soldiers, Nurses etc. etc.).
The ANZAC Girls was a TV show about young Australian and New Zealand Nurses who went overseas during the First World War to places like Gallipoli and the fields of France. The story was based on the diary of one of the young nurses. I loved the TV show - and thought this image taken from the film was just perfect for this swap.
The background is a gelli plate print and the poppy and sentiment are stamped and the poppy coloured with Inktense water colour pencils.
Hope you enjoy. |
