| | I made this card about 3 weeks ago and never got it posted so I am entering it into week 16 of the Alphabet Challenge for the Letter B (for Birthday and for Blue) and the double challenge is to make it blingy and this card has lots of sparkle going on. I first stenciled the top card layer with an HOTP all over swirls stencil and silver Delicata ink. Then die cut the front with a Tim Holtz die and stamped the sentiment. Created the sparkly blue layer with Ken Oliver Color Burst powders and water. Set aside to dry thoroughly. Once dry, spray this panel with Elmer's spray adhesive, then pour SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter over the entire panel and shake off excess. Let sit for about 5 minutes, then rub your finger over entire panel to burnish the glitter into the adhesive and to loosen any glitter that did not adhere. Adhere top panel to color burst panel using Tombo monomulti glue. I love doing this technique and I have done it enough I think I can do it in my sleep now. LOL. |
