I finally came up with Q for week 14 of the Alpha Challenge. Q for question! I made this for a masculine birthday card. I also made it out of scraps except for the base, so it is for the Mixability Challenge to use scraps. The tree panel was already stamped and even had sentiment (which I covered with ribbon). The ribbon was sitting out already cut and with the fake bow already on it. Must have been going to use it and changed my mind. The owl was stamped and punched on scraps. The yellow panel under the sentiment was a scrap. I computer generated the owl's question.
Thanks for looking.

This is fun Sharon. I've been studying the owl's eyes trying to determine how you made them. You had some good scraps that work well together. Fun card!

Sharon, this card made me smile. Love that owl and the different colours on the leaves. Great use of scraps and the ribbon looks great..........matches the base nicely. I know that in photos ribbons often look different than in real life, but this one looks fine.

Giggle! This is just so much fun Sharon! I love this wonderful tree with the owl sitting atop it. I have to agree with the others, the owls eyes and your sentiment are a "hoot" indeed! LOL. I am impressed you covered up the sentiment that was there with this ribbon (ingenious, and something I probably would never have thought to do), and I love how you inked the edges of everything! Your computer-generated sentiment is fantastic! What a wonderful card for the Q Alphabet challenge! ~Karen.

This is so cute. I got that punch bunch set at a garage sale. The little polka dotted chest on the owl is so sweet. Great sponging on this and good "Q" idea!
