Another thank you card for Operation Quiet Comfort.
This is for today's mixed media challenge to use scraps that we have hanging around. Funny thing is just yesterday I was looking at all the scraps I had hanging around on my table and told myself I needed to find something to put them in and organize them a little better. So I did that this morning. I have some really cool stuff to use.
I chose this patriotic rectangle die cut that I had left over from when I was making "New Citizen" cards for my friend. I chose another piece of paper from the Old Glory paper pack and added the copper embossed "Thank You Block". But then I decided that it was lame to only use one of my scraps. So I found the red stitched rectangle die cut and a shimmery white die cut circle and threw those in.

What a great coincidence that you had just tidied your scraps and knew what you you; which was the elements of a great card, I love those soft muted tones and the copper embossing.
