This is for Lisa's WTUI challenge this week - you'll be able to read all about it HERE.
I took a break from Christmas and thought of summer with this little teacup, mouse and strawberry flowers. It reminds me of a tea-set I used to look at and look at in a shop, only it had actual berries and not just the flowers. But I don't really use fine china, so I never bought it. And don't you love the little teddy tucked in under that cosy quilt! To go with the theme of the stamp I used the Pillow Top background from TLC479. I was lucky to find a snippet of blue lace matching the colours I'd already used on my image, so I added that and a few punched flowers to pick up on the strawberry blossoms. Image coloured with pencils, then sponged lightly with Antique Linen.
I'll add a sentiment when I know what I'm using it for...

Oh wow this is beyond cute Sabrina. Your colouring is beautiful and I love the pillow top background. The lace and stitching are the icing on the cake. Can't wait to find out what the challenge is.

I love the pillow top BG to match your quilt in this adorable image. Yes I have to agree that teddy tucked under the quilt is just super cute too. I have wanted to try that technique so I am going to have to go check it out. I am making my MIL more quilt cards for Christmas for her stash so that tutorial will sure come in handy for her cards. Thank you for the link. Thank you for making such an adorable card for the challenge.
