This is for the Allison's Sketch Challenge and for Dani's Alphabet Challenge - Letter K. First, I stamped at the top with Japanese lanterns in Illuminate Glimmer ink. It created a wonderful watermark image that gleams. I hope you can see it in the photo. Next, I stamped the kid wearing a kimono and two fans, watercolored them to coordinate with the paper that my friend so kindly brought me from Japan; and then I die-cut those images in circles for the sketch. I did flip the sketch and adjusted the circles a little. The placement almost looks like the girl is doing a fan dance and tossing her fans into the air. I added a punch sentiment using Letter K for the alphabet double challenge to represent kindness. The final touch was Wink of Stella and sequins for some sparkle and shine. It was a fun card to put together. Thank you kindly for looking!

Aw, so cute! Love the japanese paper. I have that paper in blue. I need to use it soon. I just love those papers. There is a Japanese paper place in Toronto, but I try not to go there, as I want to buy everything.

This is just wonderful Diane. I love the rich, vibrant colors you used and those lanterns are very twinkly indeed. This little girl with her fans is just adorable and these wonderful Japanese cherry blossom papers are truly special. I love this card design you chose too. Hugs! ~Karen.
