For Patty's apple inspiration challenge I started with an apple bag I used the vintage watercoloring technique to add color to the rest of the image. I used Elegant Writer pens to add the bg coloring and a bit of shading on the basket. I then smeared Vintage Photo Distress Ink onto a piece of acetate and wet it. I loaded up my paintbrush and colored the ground and basket. I used a white gel pen and also some Wink of Stella to add highlights to the apples. I embossed the Kraft and sponged it with Soft Suede. I embossed the Red with Big Polka Dots. I stamped my sentiment then punched it out. I tore off my image to make it a bit smaller. My final accent was a nod to the gingham in the inspiration photo with a bow adhered with a glue dot.

Gail,
this is one gorgeous image! I love the way you use the elegant writer and the colors you obtained with it! The apples are so beautiful, shiny and bright as if they are real! This will be added to my faves!
