This card is for Papertrey Ink's "Make-It-Monday #265 " tutorial by Lizzie Jones about layered dry brushing. I used gold acrylic rather than white acrylic mixed with a reinker to give more shimmer to my bg. I first heat embossed the script swirl and then covered it with a mask before cross-stroking on the gold acrylic. Removed the mask, then watercolored the ornament, stamped the pine needles and added the die cut decoration.

WOW! What a spectacular effect! SO much to see on this card. The shades of green in the pine branches are so true to their natural color! That ornament is incredible with this unusual technique! You still maintained the highlights! This is such a beautiful card!

Wow, Sallie, this is gorgeous! I agree with Nancy about the color variations in your greens, and I LOVE the background! Just watched the video and am so intrigued by it. I love the fabric-like look, and what a beautiful ornament and stunning card, my friend...as always! Hugs! xoxo

So soft and lovely! I read your descriptions and look and look trying to figure out the process, not that I think I could ever duplicate it! I love this, Sallie!
