I started with gesso, pressing it through the stencil. When it was dry, I sponged a piece of clock die I had saved. I stamped the old guys in gray, covered the stamp with packing tape, and transferred the image via the tape to my card. I sponged around the tape to make it show up a little more. From there on, it was a matter of adding images and washi tape. At the very end I spritzed a little walnut stain.
I love the rest of the saying from Catslife Press:
"Listen to your Father. Every once in a while he's right." - Advice from your mother who is always right.
The whole saying is inside. This will go to my grandson Nate, who is back at home after graduating college.
Thanks for looking.

I am loving this cute and fabulous card, Anne. I like how you used the packing tape and created it. Very creative. Thank you, for joining us for the F4A challenge today.

Anne, you really rocked this challenge. I think this sort of understated mixed media is much harder to carry off than the sort you (I) throw everything at. Great way to use not just one but two tapes with the fun washi and with the transfer of the stamped image.

You certainly had no problem with using an array of mixed media, Anne! Wow, I'm impressed! Very masculine; perfect for your grandson! I hope he knows all the effort you have put into this~
