I confess, I am a comic addict. Always have been. When I saw this 'ROSE is rose' in the October 1st paper, I knew it would make a great card someday. And Ceal, your beautiful colors of Fall challenge won the day.
I cut many, many tiny leaves to build the frame around the comic strip. I also added leaves cut from the uber cool Basic Grey 'Russet' from Indian Summer to fill in the leaf frame. The original sentiment
Preliminary Judging
begins for the
MOST VIBRANT COLORS
category of the
AUTUMN LEAVES INVITATIONAL
was cut into pieces to cause the eye to pause and reflect. My dear husband suggested I color the fluttering leaves in the strip, to further draw the eye into Roses' world.
So how did I do? Have you paused this season to
find the most vivid leaves? If you have, thank ROSE!

What a fun autumn card - love all your little leaves, and I think your hubby was right on about coloring in the leaves in the comic - pulls everything together!!
