 | | This is for Vicki's fun Falliday Fest Technique challenge - shaker Money Folder Shaker Money Holder Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I used a plastic storage sleeve, the type that has 2-ring binder holes punched on one side. The side edges actually become the top opening, so I started by covering the inside of the edges with Washi tape, this covers up the ring binder holes. I also used Washi tape on the outside edges even though it gets covered by the sequinned ribbon.
Initially I sewed up each side with a little craft sewing machine.....most useless piece of junk I have ever purchased, good thing it was a cheapie. Not to worry, after finding sequins all over the floor I realised that the stitched edges were dodgy, so I just used Washi tape to secure each end.
I plan to make more of these. I had a heap of fun and they are quick and easy.
Thanks so much Vicki. I hope very one is having a happy Falliday Fest (our Springyfest if you are in the Southern Hemisphere). |
