This was a quick and fun card to make! I was inspired by Holly's challenge from Falliday Fest, to use holly leaves and berries on a card!
I've had the October Afternoon Make It Merry DSP on hand for a while, lots of fun retro images to cut out! This "photo" reminded me of my childhood...we won't say when! :-)
I layered the holly-printed vellum (sorry, don't know the maker) onto a panel of SU Whisper White CS to make it show up better.
I layered the little holly sticker onto a circle of gold CS and used a dimensional to make it 'pop on the dots paper.
I cut out the little panel with the birdies and the holly leaves from the OA DSP, layered it on a piece of Maraschino CS, and rounded two corners for interest.
TFL!

Wonderful nostalgic Christmas card. Love the photo held down with photo corners that were used when I was a child(showing my age??). Your card just brings a warm feeling to one.

Wonderful! Such a fabulous retro look to this card. The photo is so fun and the photo corners are perfect for it. Great holly & berries items for the challenge, especially the vellum. The birds are so cute. Excellent job with the sketch. Thanks for playing. Love your card. TFS
