I was so excited to be able to use my new elegant writer pen! I don't own any watercolor poppy stamps, so I drew the poppies and used Karlyn Holman's technique to create the watercolor look. I used a sponge dauber to apply stazon ink on the poppies and then a little versamark was applied with my finger in the centers and just below on each flower. I used clear ep to emboss. Added sentiment from altenew. My cs didn't crease well even though I used a stylus to create the fold line, so I had to use washi tape to hide the cracks.

This is so lovely! What a great sentiment, too. Very curvy and artistic. Nice little strip of coordinating pattern on the spine that ties it all together
