Stamped the egg on the metallic champagne cs, heat embossed with gold powder. Colored the egg with Smooch inks, then fussy cut egg. Embossed a piece of champagne metallic cs using the Framed Canvas folder, embossed a piece of metallic gold cs using the Cane Weave folder. Trimmed both pieces to fit. Cut a layer of mercury glass cs to fit behind the Cane Weave layer. Mounted egg with dimensionals onto Framed Canvas layer. Printed the sentiment on the laser printer, cut out, and foiled with the Minc & purple foil. Layered the sentiment with gold cs & mercury glass cs. Then the tedious and eye crossing job- gluing a tiny pearl on each little dot around the outer edge of the Framed Canvas piece. (2 sessions, had to take a break to be able to focus again!) Why do I do all that work? It just looks GREAT to me, I can't help myself!!!

You have me chuckling Pat at your last comment about why do you go to all that work? And I agree - this looks not only great, but Ah-mazing! I can only imagine how much time went into this card, but it is truly lovely to behold! There are so many incredible elements you have incorporated into this wonderful card! This is just fantastic for the Alphabet challenge for the letter E! ~Karen.
