Just Add Ink Color #333: http://just-add-ink.blogspot.com/ which required the use of some "G" word in the layout. I chose Green Sea Grass.

Create with Connie and Mary Color Challenge #248: http://www.createwithconnieandmary.com/ which required the use of Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party and Sweet Sugarplum colors.
I was inspired by Kristi Gray's card (https://goo.gl/PmJiA2) from Pinterest. And of course, I had to use one of my favorite SU fish stamp sets "Fish Frolics" (1997) which had a lot of great variety and shapes.
The background panel was stamped on Very Vanilla with different fishes and bubbles. I didn't have Sweet Sugarplum ink, but found that if I stamp off Purely Pomegranate it looked VERY close, so did my little fish schools in that color. The bubbles are a really cute rendition that I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.
The top panel was also done with Very Vanilla, and focused on green sea grass (the "G" required by Connie & Mary) stamped with Pear Pizzazz green ink.
The 1.5" panel was then run through the Big Shot inside the SU Seaside embossing folder, then glued to a double mat of Sweet Sugarplum and Pear Pizzazz cardstock with widths 2" and 1.75". This sandwich was mounted to the background panel using foam strips to give added dimension to the card.
Finally the tag was made with my SU Terrific Tags Punch. Since I wanted my tag to be narrower than the punch makes, I temporarily attached a scrap cardstock "handle" to the punched tag, and inserted it back into the punch, but held to the left so the second punch would make a narrower tag. The Very Vanilla tag topper was done the same way, but narrower still. I used scissors to cut a tiny bit off the top and bottom of the vanilla tag so there would be Sweet Sugarplum matting showing all around the edges. Then I stamped the birthday sentiment.
The Old Olive Bakers Twine was wrapped around the cardstock sandwich and tied behind. The tag was attached with two Mini Glue Dots, and a simple bow created with Bakers Twine and stuck to the front of the tag using a rolled up Mini Glue Dot.
The card was pretty straightforward. You can make a more masculine version with a simple change-out of the Sweet Sugarplum ink and paper. But I think the color combo does well for the card as it is.
Although there are a lot of steps, they are all pretty easy, so I gave this card a difficulty rating of "2".
