I am one who is freaked out just by the phrases Fancy Fold or Fun Fold but in the name of Yeti pursuit and inspired by Dina's card I braved the Twist Gate Fold! I picked up the cute bear stamp in a bag of stamps at Goodwill the other day. I thought it was a perfect image to use the Vintage Watercolor technique and was a good size for the fold. I am amazed by the colors you get with the Elegant Writer pens activated by water. I used black on the pants, brown on the helmet and football, blue on the jersey and simply pulled from the Distress Ink stamping for the bear and pants. I mixed a little black with the distress ink on the shoes and pulled a bit of each color for the shading under the image. I went to my paper stash and found some old dp with a Western theme that matched my colors. I wanted to mimic the button on my fella's helmet so I grabbed a wooden one and added twine. I layered over a punched star.I used glue dots to adhere it.

Gail, that little bear is adorable and so well colored. You and I are kindred thrift store junkie spirits, ;) Marvelous job with the twisted gatefold card.

Amazing job on this fold and what an adorable image you used on it too! Beautifully colored. I still have to do this one but it turned out amazing on your card.
