Hi, dear friends! You know I always love flowers, and this card is extra special for me because it has a Scripture verse. I am honored to be on the design team for Word Art Wednesday, and we are delighted that Simon Says Stamp will continue to be the primary sponsor for 2017. So who doesnÂ’t love the opportunity to win a gift voucher from Simon Says Stamp?
Well, I decided I would showcase this verse with flowersÂ…and are you surprised? I guess not! This is a relatively new floral stamp set that I love with its stylized flowers, and I white embossed and sponged with Distress Inks. Then I fussy cut each of the pieces. Next I used some oval dies for my verse and a new rounded rectangle die that I layered on the Island Indigo embossed layer. I added the flowers using dimensional tape and added some sequins, and it was done!
Thank you so much for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a wonderful week! Sending you all big hugs, sweet friends!

Oh Cheryl, this card is such a delightful feast for the eyes! These flowers are so happy and joyful and are perfectly paired with this amazing sentiment. I love how you have layered up your sentiment panel on the oval layers, then the rounded rectangle layer. This blue chevron embossed background is a bit unexpected which I love! Congratulations on your new design team - this is so exciting and so well deserved! Someone is going to be thrilled when they receive this amazing card from you! ~Karen.
