Made for Thank Goodness It's Friday Color Challenge #76: http://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/ required the use of Tangerine Tango, Kraft and White colors.
My take on the challenge was inspired by Annette Elliot's sympathy cards ( https://goo.gl/8So4Ap ). I used different colors, different stamps, and different inks, but her layout was very attractive.
Craft Ink is rather challenging, so to get a more solid white, I stamped each blossom twice (positioning with my Stamp-a-ma-jig), then used my Aqua Painter to fill in the petals more. The center of each blossom was also enhanced with pearls.
The tiny Tangerine Tango blossoms were die cut using the SU Flower Fair Framelits die, and attached using Mini Glue Dots.
The washi tape along the left side of the front panel is from the SU Watercolor Wonder suite. I thought the gold looked more like the Versamark when applied to the Soft Suede panel, so it was perfect.
The tag was made using the SU Terrific Tags punch twice for both the Tangerine Tango and Whisper White cardstock. After punching each out, I temporarily attached a scrap cardstock "handle" to the back of the tags and re-inserted each sliding them a bit to the side to punch the tag narrower than the original. To ensure an orange mat, I slide the Whisper White tag to be a bit narrower than the orange when I punched each the second time.
Since I'm the most bow-challenged person on the planet, I used my Bow-Easy bowmaker to create the Early Espresso bakers twine embellishment for the tag after stamping it with the SU Petite Pairs sentiment. It was attached with a Stampin' Dimensional at the top to give it height, and a Mini Glue Dot at the bottom to make sure it stayed in place.
Note that to create the floral display I wanted, I ended up using four different Stampin' Up stamp sets for blossoms and "greenery".
I rated this card a "3" in difficulty because of the need to double stamp and watercolor the craft ink blossoms. Not really hard, just a pain to do. But it was worth it!
