Just got back from my vacation to New Mexico and I missed you all. While I was there I went to one of those shops that sells the Mexican Talavera pottery. I love those stores with all the colorful designs. I decided that I would make a card with a Talavera flair, so when Mary gave us five colors I was excited. I searched for Talavera pottery on Pinterest and came up with this:http://pin.it/0U-Unf2
I hand drew the pattern in pencil first, then went over it with black gel pen and colored with spectrum noir markers. Some colors were difficult to match but I used GB1, TN9, DR3, LG3, and OR2.
Then I assembled and stamped the sentiment with stazon because I've found that this particular stamp set doesn't work that well with memento.
