I do love a good faux finish but I was nervous about this one. I was sure it was one of those cards that would look good in my head but I would somehow screw up trying to brighten it. I do that with dark colors. But I love this.
I do hope you don't mind that I let my EF do the first half of the work for me. I think these fish look really cool stamped in "leather".

What a great embossing folder. I think if you are comfortable colouring the embossed fish and ripples without getting too much ink where you don't want it ( not me!!) then using an EF is a great shortcut and produces a cool tooled leather effect. The tag looks brilliant too!

Terrific look to your leather, Jennifrann - Kudos to those of you who were smart enough to start with an EF - (Hand doing these things takes forever) - love the machine stitching to put it all together - great masculine card
