This was a brand new technique for me. Got a Brown paper bag, painted on some gesso and heated - it dried but I got no texture so added a thicker layer of tacky glue, heated again and this time got lots of bubbling. Once dry I die cut my leaves and painted on a layer of black dimensional paint, allowed that to dry and rubbed on gold & copper metallics & lusters. With a stamp-a-ma-jig, I picked 4 lines from a 7 line verse & stamped onto my colored strips - Then layered on my burnt leaves some stickers and fall colored sequins.

I really like your layout with the diagonal stripes and sentiment, Linda. That adds so much to the idea of falling leaves. Your leaves turned out beautifully, too.
