I made this as a sample for Carla's great WTUI challenge which you will find HERE.
For my background, I used the pillow top background as featured in TLC479. It's added to a white base sponged with seedless preserves, and I added some Liquid Pearl dots to each intersection.
Flopsy was stamped on Bristol Board and coloured with Polychromos pencils. I used a Versamarker pen on the icecream and the Scratch and Sniff tutorial, with some grape-flavoured drink powder very kindly supplied by Carla. I've certainly never seen anything like it here.
I used the same powder to emboss my frame. Actually it's painted pink, but the scratch and sniff mix has quite a strong colour, so maybe that step was a waste of time.
The sentiment is from the same MFT set, and was simply cut with a Spellbinders Label, edges sponged and tucked underneath the frame.

Sabrina, your card is adorable! Lovely bg, I'll definitely try that technique, the colors work so well together. Hope Flopsy enjoyed the grape ice cream cone ;) Thanks for the sample for my challenge.

Wonderful! Love these colors together. I actually plan to redecorate my bedroom in these colors and do a beachy theme. I really like the pillow top too. I would like to try it, but when I looked for pillow top under tutorials I came up empty. Can you tell me how it is done or give me another name for the tutorial?

The pink frame peeks out and gives a great color through the dark color of the drink mix. I loved this technique and am so excited to have a friend send my card to as she just bought some books that are scratch and sniff. When I was in school we use to get homework with stickers when we did a great job and the scratch n sniff stickers were the best. I am so glad to do this challenge I am going to have to do more cards. Super cute image and great job with your BG too.

Well, I love everything about this, Sabrina, especially that diamond patterned background with accents in the corners. I'll bet this card smells SO good!

Sabrina, Flopsy is adorable, but the bg is INCREDIBLE!!! Thanks for the tip about pre-coloring when using "colored" ep. I'll keep that in mind when I try this technique.

Flopsy looks adorable and that ice cream looks like one of my favorite flavors. We had some blackberry not long ago, it was so good. Great way to make a larger area of the scratch and sniff in using the framing!
