Hi again! This card is for Karen's color challenge and boy are these colors beautiful together. Thank you Karen!
The other night I laid out all of the colors and the stamps I intended to use for each challenge. Let me tell you, this is not at all the card I intended to make. I knew I wanted to add the dessert of fussy cutting.
*Heat embossed Flourishes (Recollections)with Stampendous Vintage Olive embossing tinsel. This looks just like SU Old Olive, don't you think! Fussy cut this panel
Everything else is pretty straight forward but will say this:
*Stamped the roses using MISTI using only SU Cherry Cobbler but used a combination of stamping off and building color.
*After the layers are stamped, I heat embossed Stampendous Stardust Transparent ep. This is pretty IRL
*Used coordinating die for these flowers
The sentiment is from Catherine Pooler's Stamp of Approval. Sorry, I can't remember which collection.
I think I'll save this for my hubby. Our anniversary is in May, won't wait that long. (The eagle from the other day was intended for him but he saw it before I could put it away.)
Thanks for looking!

This is really stunning! Wow! I am truly loving this color combination too! I love the embossing powders you used on the flourish/scroll and the flowers. Oh gosh, I am sorry to read your hubby found the eagle card - dang! They have a way of doing that, don't they? LOL. Gorgeous card here though! ~Karen.

LOL I have been looking for the eagle on this card for the last 5 minutes. When Lisa wrote 'edge' my brain registered 'eagle'. Oh well, it gave me plenty of time to take in all the beautiful details of this lovely card. Hugaroonies my friend.
