This is my sample for CC600. I am one of your hostesses this week and my color combo is smoky slate, coastal cabana and Bermuda bay. Dessert is anything goes. I am using glitter.
These are the colors we used for CC561. I hosted that challenge and here and here are the cards I made then.
Check out the color challenge thread for all the details on how we are celebrating our 600th color challenge. And the 5 options that are open to you this week.
For my background I used both my brayer and sponging with coastal cabana and Bermuda bay inks. Then I used the MFT "falling snow" stencil and 3D white embossing paste for background snow. I mounted this panel to smoky slate cardstock.
My dies are from the CottageCutz Christmas 2016 collection. This one is Birch Trees & Deer. I cut the trees in smoky slate cardstock and added chunky glitter to the tree tops to coordinate with my sentiment. Deer are cut in soft suede cardstock - using this as one of my neutral colors.
I used a Lawn Fawn die to cut my hill and added some chunky glitter to the top. My sentiment is from the Paper Trey Ink set "in the meadow". I cut some white fun foam to lift the panel off the card base and that completed my card.
Hope you can play along with us this week. We have a fun idea for our 6ooth challenge and there are even some prizes to be won.

I too love scenes like this...in fact I'm just finishing a batch of Christmas cards with a similar scene. This is a GREAT and UNEXPECTED color combination making this a gorgeous card!

What a beautiful card, Mary! I love the sky you created with sponging and using a brayer for the two colors. The birch trees and deer are fantastic, and the sparkle on the tree tops is great!! Wonderful work, Mary!!
