Congratulations to this week's featured stamper, Tracey Fehr. I needed a special birthday card for a good friend who loves purple, flowers, and France. My inspiration was this card from Tracey's gallery: My Wish for You by Tracey Fehr at Splitcoaststampers. I kept the basic layout just changing the location of the flowers on the front panel and the circle to an oval. Such beautiful papers she used on her card!
I used the mirror image stamp with the corner stamp in order to orient it the way I wanted in a couple of the corners (then covered up one of them with the flowers!). I put Wink of Stella on the flowers and the medallion/firework behind the Eiffel Tower. There is a bit of black Wink of Stella on the Eiffel Tower as well.
I thought the cream sentiment panel was too plain so stamped VERY lightly the background stamp En Francais. It doesn't really show up in the photo.
I usually do much simpler cards. This was fun to create, I hope she likes it!
Thanks for looking.

Gorgeous. This card is perfect for your friend. Love the purples and the Paris theme. The cascading flowers are so pretty. Well done with the special fold. Nice case of your inspiration choice. Lovely card. TFS

Fabulous! Aren't the Z fold cards so much fun to make! It's so great to hear that you ventured out of your comfort zone by making a card that isn't as simple as you would usually do! You challenged yourself and came out with a wonderful creation! The floral patterned paper is so pretty with the rest of the purple color scheme! I'm sure your friend loved this!
