Fun and more fun with this weeks MIX challenge to use school ruled paper on our cards!
Started by ripping a piece of school lined paper and then applying inks to it using the Wrinkle Free Distress method. Dried it with the heat gun and then ran it through the Cuttlebug using the Darice school folder.
Applied vintage photo around the edges of the paper and across the embossed image.
The black panel I wanted it to look like a school chalk board. So I stamped the stacked books image around the edges of the panel and then used clear embossing powder and heat set it.
Using Versamark white ink I sponged over the embossed stamping. Looks like someone did not clean the chalk board very well!
Finished the card using inspiration from today's IC561. This quote was on the book page, "do disrupt, change the status quo, or become it." Thought it was perfect to go across the vintage paper, remembering how Lydia showed us to do background with free handed script. TFL!

Amazing! I love what you did with the school rule lined paper! This is something I simply am not able to do even after reading what you did so I appreciate what you have made immensely! I love how you created this wonderful black background too! ~Karen.
