You'll have to check out Lisa's challenge HERE to see why I created this card for it.
Ever since I got a knitting-themed stamp set at Christmas (thank you, Lorraine!), I knew that I wanted to use the yarn stamp with this phone box image, and Lisa's challenge provided the perfect opportunity. I stamped the yarn several times to create a background, and then added my hedgie calling home. The mouse is part of the same image, usually he stands just beside the box looking in, but I punched him separately and sponged a countryside setting into the circle, so that it gives the idea of the hedgie calling a country friend from the town.
I thought the SU word die picked up well on those coiled cords and the yarn, so I added that inside.

Sabrina this is just adorable. The knit BG works so perfectly with the darling Penny Black images and your coloring is just beautiful. This card is sure to bring a big smile to the recipient when you send off the Hello. Thank you for playing in the "HELLO" challenge and bringing such an adorable card for a sample!

As cute as can be!! The telephone booth is so adorable on its own but then the spotlighted little hedgie is perfect! And I've never seen the yarn type designed stamped...what a cool bg it makes.

Nailed it! Perfect perfect card for the challenge. Your attention to detail is amazing! The yarn stamp is awesome as phone cord and the "hello" does mimic it. Your placement of your little country mouse really does give the impression that the hedgehog is calling a country friend. Faved!
