I am feeling a little 'hallowe'enie' to-day so thought I would get a start on my fall cards. The 'house' background is a charcoal gray cardstock that has been scored and a white pigment ink was lightly dragged along the piece. The boards were made with a black marker in the score lines. The window is from spellbinders stamped with PSX crackle and sponged with walnut. The panes are cut from plain vellum with one of the panes torn to look like a broken window. I sponged orange card stock with various colours then randomly clear embossed and then punched out various leaves. The red birds, window and the branches are spellbinders and the black kitty is Impression Obsession. The bat is a novelty ribbon I got at the dollar store and the pumpkin is a padded sticker from heaven only knows where! (the bottom of my work box I think!) LOL

So looking forward to seeing all of the fall/Halloween cards even though I'm sad to see summer end. This is totally adorable with the best little details!

Your grayed wood piece turned out FANTASTIC! (I must remember wood doesn't have to be brown) Love all the little details that pull this card together for a fun Halloweenie card.
