Vicki is our hostess this week and she has chosen tempting turquoise, real red, and emerald envy. For dessert: a bird! For the part of my card when I was watercoloring, I subbed Zig marker colors as close to the colors as I could.
On a separate piece of watercolor cs, I created a watercolor wash with turquoise reinker and with a green Zig marker, and then splattered the panel with diluted white acrylic paint. Triple stamped the bird, and fussy cut. Die cut the branch, berries, and leaves - watercolored the berries and leaves and then sponged with real red and emerald envy. Stamped sentiment, and assembled with a black mat.

Outstanding job with water coloring, Maura! That cardinal is gorgeous perched on the branch. You did a super job of coloring him. Love the card, my friend!!

Wow! This is gorgeous! I absolutely love your water colored background that showcases this gorgeous cardinal. Love your nicely colored branch with berries too. Just lovely! ~Karen.
