The CAS Challenge for today was to either have a sun, a rainbow or both on our cards. I know I have a lot of layers so many of you may not consider it CAS. To me, if I don't have to color a image with copics for an hour or two, it is CAS. :0)
I used my distress inks for the background. I have the mini pads and I just drug them across the book page. I colored the eyes and lips of the sun, added rhinestones and called this sunny card, done.

All that sunshine looks good to me, as long as it is not accompanied by the humidity!! Love the "old book" background with its delightfully cheerful coloring, the arcs of black and white, and the embossed BG!! I agree, if it doesn't take you 2 hours to color and image, it's GOT to be a CAS card!! Way to go!!

This is so creative! I love how you created the background colors, and I love how warm and bright this card is. Your sun image is beautiful and so perfect on the typeset background.
