I wish I could get a more accurate photo of the colors in this BG, they are not as muddy as they look on my screen. I wish I could get a better photo, period, but I am sticking to my "six attempts and that's it" rule. In any case, still working through a pile of Distress Paint resist BGs on my desk.

Oh, I love how the greys in the background (I never use them) go so wonderfully with your image. It makes me think of marble sculptures, somehow...I think because of the uncoloured image. I once worked in a house where the hall was lined with assorted sculptures.
p.s. once you mentioned it, I think I do remember reading about tipping in in the context of books. I'd never heard of it as a card technique, though, and I don't scrapbook...
