This was cut out of 4 matboard (4x4) to desired size, two of which had the centers cut out for the shaker and frame part. The outsides were covered with decorative paper. The shaker front was handmade with an arcylic sheet. The brads were made up of two parts (eyelets and brads) to make the little knobs (used on the front only). The elastic was attached to the back and brought forward around the little knobs to close (one side would stay closed, while the other is used as a clasp to open and close). This was fun to design and was really excited to complete since I had not seen any yet.
