This is my card for WT596 - to use Scrabble Tiles. The thought almost made me faint. I mulled it over for an entire day trying to figure out a way to do this, but since DH had me so busy running, it was also impossible to download digital tiles. Got up this morning still thinking about what I could do, but was busy again.
I needed to make a roast and decided the fastest way was to make it in the pressure cooker, but that meant watching the dumb thing for an hour. I decided I could deal with Scrabble during that time. I had picked up two Scrabble games at a rummage last weekend and decided that they must have some tiles missing and that would be a good game to use. They were both perfect. So I went digging for my old, old game and found I now have 5 Scrabble games - two with tiles missing, so I blended them and now have one game for making cards. I have also removed the brown ruffle from the sentiment as it looks better without amd maybe someday I will upload my now "finished" card. My roast was done way before I was. Thanks for looking.

This came out beautiful!! I know it's tough to use a "good full" set of something. Yeah for having enough excess tiles to spell dream!! Great word for the lovely card! Hope the roast was good too!

Carol, Pretty card! Nice sentiment and the combination of actual tiles and the sentiment panel is very effective. Big bonus for five Scrabble games and a winning card to boot! Thanks for playing in my challenge.

Great! Love the use of the real tiles. I photocopied mine. The background is awesome. I'm not sure if you did that or it's the paper, but it's nice. The floral fence is so pretty. Creative idea to use floral paper. Well done! TFS

I like the feeling of a dense wall of flowers against a picket fence that your paper gives me. How typical that the sets you expected to be incomplete and only fit for up-cycling both turned out to be perfect. Hey, I should double-check mine and see if any are missing, I'd know where to come for a replacement.
And - I love your flower/sun. I've been working on it, I think I'm getting there, thank you SO much.
