I made 3 projects with a similar design this week. This is the second one I made. I watercolored my paper with crayola markers in blues and browns. I then stamped my images. I added additional watercoloring to the lighthouse. The lighthouse was stamped on scrap that had the same watercolor as the rest of the card so that the windows of the lighthouse would match the base of the card. I fussy cut it out and glued it over the horizontal panel. I used a white prisma colored pencil to color the birds. I dyed my cheesecloth by dropping some distress reinkers in a ziplock baggie and put the cheesecloth in with it and smooshed it until the color was all over the cheesecloth. I die cut some shells out of a scrap of brown paper. I used wink of stella- gold for the light from the lighthouse. The seagulls were fussy cut and I made mechanical paper springs behind them to make them fly above the rest of the card.
