Word to the Wise - do not attend to make a 3D item for the first time late on the last night of the DTGD challenge week, when you are already feeling tired... I can't believe I managed to make it work into something that I like. Halfway in the middle, I was kind of losing hope.
So I wanted to see if the Berry Basket Bigz die could be turned into a picnic basket. Change the angles, add two handles and some flip-out covers. Simple enough, right?
I will be the first to admit that 3D projects are not my forte. I don't make a lot of them and lack 3D vision. That being said, with a bit of fidgeting and troubleshooting, I ended up with something cute. (And that can lodge something more substantial than those tiny teeny little basket and pocket dies!) It could be improved upon and definitely made prettier with more embellishments (would love to add a red checkered lining, for example), but for now, it'll do.
The woven pattern was created with the line from the Work of Art stamp set.

What an amazing creation. Your work late night is just as good as any time. :-)
This is just so cute and, yes, a red checkered lining would be really adorable.

I can't belive you made this under such pressure. Congrats, on getting it done! It looks great to! I found out last week, that 3-D is not my forte, although I did know it before hand.
