Remember that cookie press Stampin' Up! used to sell? When I found my long-neglected clay, I thought they could be paired together to make an embellishment for a project. Once the clay was cooked, I coated it with Champagne Glimmer Paint and let dry.
This heart medallion was totally supposed to go on my other wedding anniversary card (also shared in my gallery). The card was entirely done and set aside until the paint had dried. In the meantime, I started working on this box and after inserting the paper inside (glued with Tear 'n Tape to the bottom so it doesn't move), I was wondering what to embellish it with and it dawned on me that the medallion would actually work well! (And I realized that the clay medallion was a little heavier than I thought and might make the card buckle).
The fringed ribbon is actually the leftover part of the ribbon I had frayed to make my previous bird nest card. I also used one of the strands to make the bow on the clay medallion.
I ordered those clear card boxes a while ago when I ordered square envelopes online and it was nice to have the DTGD to give me a little kick in the behind and put them to use.
TFL!

What a beautiful gift bag. Your medallion turned out so well and looks great here, even if it was originally destined for a card. And the fringed ribbon, wow, it's wonderful.
