Well I thought it would be good to do this on black shimmer paper. Good thing the paper had a grey shimmer side on the back. the black side did have a pattern on it and it was really quite interesting, if you could see it. So I went with the grey (silver) side so the colors would show up more. The pattern did not show up the same on the back side, but so much of the color soaked through that it did make some interesting patterns. I die cut a simple Congrats and edged it in black so it would really contrast with the background.
