Trying my hand at a Color Challenge (CC594). Colors are shown.
Initially I was preparing my florals for a DTGD challenge and thought I'd incorporate the color challenge. You can see the watercolored flowers to the left (they'll still be used) and was very surprised by the color variation.
The floral panel is made using the same colors and these were the only colors used (except for DI hickory smoke for outline). Using my MISTI, I reinked the layers a couple of times to achieve a darker variation of the same color. Effective huh!?
The orange mats are direct to paper so they matched more closely to my card base. The others were cs scraps I had lying about.
The stencil is from Fun Stampers Journey (Bubbles I think). I used this particular stencil to help pop the floral spray using the same color.
Unfortunately I made the rookie mistake of stamping my sentiment after I mounted the panel so it's a little blurry. Ugh!!!

Gorgeous card. Lovely flowers (on and off the card) and nice use of the colors. Your sentiment doesn't look blurry to me, but it is usually a good idea to stamp before putting on the panel. Great job on your card. Can't wait to see how you use the other flowers. TFS

Oh, Deborah, this is beautiful, and I love that it's for the Color Challenge for this week! And wow, I love the stenciled background! Great layout of your flowers, and the sentiment is fine. Had you not said anything, I wouldn't have searched for it! This is fabulous, sweet friend, and I love it!! Hugaroonies, as you've gotten us to say! Hehe! xoxo

Hugaroonies Deborah.....I don't think I have ever started a sentence like that before ...I digress, everything about this is terrific. Your colouring is fabulous and I live how you have photographed this.
