This is for this week's sketch challenge and the alphabet challenge. I turned the sketch challenge to landscape for this card.
For the alphabet challenge, the random letter selected for this week is the letter P. The double challenge was to use a tutorial from SCS with the tutorial also starting with P. I actually used two: plaid background and Pull-out slider card.
I made my plaid with purple, green, and black (the black is Wink of Stella). I embossed the purple panel with the cloudy day ef and the green with the woodlands ef. The purple pickup I colored with Prismacolor pencils. I also sponged the moon (tried to get some gray on it like the full moon seems to have). I don't have a slider framelit so cut the slider with an Exacto knife.
So, for the letter P I have:
Plaid background with purple
Purple pickup filled with purple presents
Pull-tab slider card
Fun - and time consuming - card to make. Thanks for looking!

Wow! What a great Letter P card. Wonderful presentation of the sentiment by pulling on the tab and the pick up moves along. Love all the Letter P elements. Great job on the techniques. TFS

Oh, what a cool slider card, Catherine! I've not made one, but I think this is fabulous! I love the background/DP you've made using markers (another something on my "want to do someday" list!). I really love plaids too. And what a great sketch card for this week! I think this is definitely a triple-hitter in my book! Hugs!

Boy, you really packed a punch with this terrific card! I love your plaid background and this purple pickup is a hoot (I wish I had one for real!). Love that you made this a slider card too! Super cool! ~Karen.
